EAST PEORIA, Ill. — Police responded to a potential threat at East Peoria Community High School Friday.
East Peoria Police Detectives were called just after 12:30 p.m. to EPCHS for an inappropriate social media post.
Sgt. Brian Despines said with the help of the school’s staff, all parties were identified and spoken to.
“At no time was there a threat of any kind to EPCHS students, staff or employees.” An investigation will continue over the next several days,” Despines said.
