PEORIA, Ill. — A mixed bag of wintry weather returns to the Peoria area Tuesday.
News partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins said light rain, possibly mixed with freezing rain is expected move in Tuesday morning.
“Then we’ll see snow showers this (Tuesday) afternoon and evening. We get a break tomorrow (Wednesday) morning before moderate snow moves in tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon and continues through Thursday morning. Total (snow) accumulation around Metro Peoria will be three to four inches,” Collins said.
Collins said the good news is…there’s no sign of bitterly cold air in the forecast over the next few days.
