PEORIA, Ill. — This time, it won’t be weekend plans that are altered by the weather.
News partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist says a mid-week winter blast will wreak havoc upon commute to and from work.
“The main event is Wednesday afternoon when moderate snow overspreads the area. Snow will affect both afternoon drive Wednesday and morning drive Thursday before it ends early Thursday afternoon,” he said.
“Most of us will see two to four inches with isolated pockets of five inches.
“We’ll see northeast winds 10 to 15 miles per hour, gusting up to 25, so there will be visibility issues.”
Collins says bitterly cold temperatures will not be a part of this blast.
