PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police responded around 12:30 a.m. Friday to the 3000 block of W. Ann on reports of a man being stabbed in the chest.
Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said a domestic dispute lead to the stabbing.
“Officers arrived on scene and located the male victim. He was transported to a local hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries,” Dotson said.
Dotson said a woman was taken into custody in connection with the incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
