PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. — The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 40-year-old Angela Ballstadt of Owatonna, Minnesota.
Sheriff Brian Asbell said Ballstadt made a 911 call early Tuesday morning.
“She called our dispatch center and you could tell she was in a crisis,” Asbell said.
Ballstadt, who is considered endangered, was last seen walking in the area of I-474 and Farmington Road around 4:40 a.m., wearing only a white sports bra and dark pants.
“We responded to the area. We did receive a second call from a passing motorist that saw her walking along I-474 loosely dressed,” Asbell said.
The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office has been in contact with Minnesota law enforcement.
Asbell said there is a history of concern for Ballstadt’s physical and mental health.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office at (309) 672-6011.
