PEORIA, Ill. — The latest winter blast has been exactly what experts expected.
Don’t expect that to change, for better or for worse, said news partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins.
“As advertised, steady light snow will continue the rest of [Wednesday] night but should be out of here by [Thursday] morning drive,” he said.
“Peoria Metro will end up with three to five inches. Temperatures will fall thoughout the day [Thursday], then lows on Friday morning will be around five-below with wind chills 10 to 20 below.”
A winter weather advisory was issued for the Peoria area until 10 A.M. Thursday.
