PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Firefighters responded to a call just after 7 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of W. Martin.
Peoria Fire Battalion Chief Nate Rice said a two stall garage was on fire.
“It was pretty much fully engulfed evidently when they got there. They did get a knockdown on it within about ten minutes,” Rice said.
The garage was a total loss and is expected to be razed.
A garage to the west suffered minor heat damage, mostly melted siding.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
