Kentwood, MI–After ninety years of showing blockbuster movies, the company who owns Willow Knolls 14 is calling it quits.
Metro Grand Rapids-based Goodrich Quality Theaters has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this month.
According to Goodrich Quality Theaters, the company headquartered in Grand Rapids Michigan, owns a chain of 287 screens in the United States.
This move that will likely see the company sell off most of its 29 theaters to pay off $30 million in debt.
No official word on whether or not Willow Knolls Movie Theater in Peoria will be impacted.
