PEKIN, Ill. — A Pekin man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for sexually abusing a young girl.
Brandon Lynn, 34, of Pekin, pleaded guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse Wednesday in Tazewell County Court.
Lynn’s sentence was the maximum allowed for abuse that began in the fall of 2018, when the girl was in fifth grade. The abuse lasted three years.
Lynn was initially charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, but agreed to a plea deal that would not require the girl to testify in court.
