Jones is accused of agreeing to accept bribes from red-light camera entrepreneur-turned-FBI cooperator Omar Maani in exchange for limiting legislation he’d proposed to study red-light camera systems in Illinois to spare Maani’s company, SafeSpeed, from potential fallout.
