PEORIA, Ill. – Three juveniles were arrested after an investigation of vandalism reported in Peoria County over the past two weeks.
Peoria County Sheriff Brian Asbell said detectives located three male juveniles ages 14, 16 and 17 from the Bellevue and Peoria area.
The juveniles were questioned in regards to damaged property found at Norwood School, and an incident of rock throwing at vehicles from an overpass onto the I-474 Interstate.
Sheriff Asbell said the juveniles confessed to the crimes.
The three males were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center. They were booked in on multiple counts of vehicular endangerment, reckless conduct, CDP to state supported property and criminal damage to property, according to Asbell.
No other suspects were wanted in the case.
