DELAVAN, Ill. — The Tazewell County Coroner is investigating the death of a man found in rural Delavan.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to a field off of Locust Road around 10:20 a.m. Thursday, on a report of a vehicle found in a soybean field.
According to Tazewell Coroner Charles Hanley, the man found was identified as Jordan Kramer, 23 years of age, and was pronounced dead in the vehicle.
“He was identified by visible tattoos and an ID found in the vehicle,” said Hanley
According to the incident report, Jordan was last seen alive on Thursday, July 2, 2020 and was reported missing on Friday, July 3, 2020.
This case remains under investigation by the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, the Illinois State Police, and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning.
