TREMONT, Ill. — After a third positive case among students, Tremont High School is temporarily moving to remote learning.
In an email to parents, Superintendent Sean Berry says the school district isn’t sure if the three cases are connected. He added that they have made the decision to shift to remote learning through Nov. 3 as precaution.
The district says there is no signs of similar issues in the grade or middle school, so those schools will continue with in-person learning.
The middle school and high school are in the same building, but the district says there is “virtually” no mixing of students.
Students who need to pick up materials or supplies are allowed to do so on Thursday, Oct. 22 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. or Friday, Oct. 23 between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
