PEORIA, Ill. — An arrest has been made in the Tuesday night stabbing outside of Ulrich’s Rebellion Room.
Upon arrival at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers found an adult male with stab wounds to the neck and arm. The injuries were considered serious, and the victim was taken to a local hospital.
A second victim, also an adult male, suffered lacerations to his hand during the altercation. He sought treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
According to Public Information Officer Amy Dotson, the suspect, 37-year-old Randy Ceballos, was taken into custody without incident.
Witnesses on the scene said a verbal fight at the bar escalated into a physical fight, which led to the victim being stabbed.
After the stabbing, Ceballos fled to a vehicle across the street where he was eventually taken into custody.
Ceballos was arrested for two counts of Aggravated Battery.
