PEORIA, Ill. — Four people died and 325 people tested positive between Thursday and Friday for COVID-19 throughout the Peoria-Tazewell-Woodford tri-county.
The deaths in Peoria County were of two females: one in her 80s, the other in her 90s, and both residents of Christian Buehler.
Tazewell’s deaths were both of Generations at Riverview residents. One was a male in his 70s, and the other was a female in her 80s.
Peoria and Tazewell had 151 new cases, apiece, while Woodford accounted for 23.
104 people as of Friday afternoon were in hospitals with the virus, of whom 27 were in intensive care.
The region’s rolling seven-day positivity rate was up to 10.7%.
