PEORIA, Ill. – A pedestrian was the victim of a hit-and-run in the wee hours of Saturday morning in Peoria.
Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said the PPD, firefighters and AMT were called just after 1 a.m. to the 2600 block of W. Flint on reports of a vehicle that hit a person and did not stop.
“The victim, an adult woman, was transported to a local hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries,” Dotson said.
Police have not released any suspect information.
The incident remains under investigation.
