PEORIA, Ill. — A total of 119 residents of Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties between Wednesday and Thursday tested positive for COVID-19.
71 of those residents are of Peoria, 41 live in Tazewell, and seven are Woodford residents.
One person during the reporting period died: a Peoria woman in her 70s, whose living situation was unreported.
Hospitalizations for the tri-county dropped significantly, from 133 to 115. 29 of the 115 were in intensive care.
ICU bed capacity for the Greater Region Two remained stuck at 16%. Rolling seven-day positivity dipped just below the 5% mark, and overall COVID hospitalizations decreased once again.
