SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — A total of 3,321 Illinoisans between Thursday and Friday tested positive for COVID-19, while 36 died.
Rolling seven-day average for vaccines administered per day has dwindled significantly, to 65,750. A total of 73,526 vaccines over the 24-hour period were given.
Hospitalizations statewide as of Thursday night were below 2,000, at 1,977. 464 of those patients were in intensive care, while 239 were using ventilators.
Labs across the state collected 101,005 specimens to be tested.
