PEORIA, Ill. — Four Peoria County people between Tuesday and Wednesday succumbed to COVID-19 complications.
Among them were a man in his 30s, a man in his 50s, a woman in her 60s, and a man in his 70s.
48 residents of Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties, combined, tested positive. 26 of them reside in Peoria, 15 live in Tazewell, and seven are located in Woodford.
Tri-county hospitalizations increased from 69 to 72. The intensive care count remained at 19.
All Region Two metrics continued their promising pace, with ICU bed availability increasing to 24%, overall hospitalizations dropping by six, and rolling seven-day positivity dropping to 3.1%.
