MORTON, Ill. — Five-year Morton Schools Superintendent Jeff Hill announced Tuesday the 2021-2022 school year will be his last.
“Morton has been an enjoyable experience, and I think it has been a productive time,” he said.
“Morton is a wonderful place, and very supportive of its schools. Honestly, it has been an honor to serve the community in this capacity.”
Hill said he plans to retire from the education field after 37 years.
The district indicated it would soon be announcing its plans for filling Hill’s seat.
