PEORIA, Ill. — No deaths and only 15 new cases highlighted Thursday’s Peoria City/County Health Department COVID-19 report.
10 of the new cases belong to Tazewell County, and all others are of Peoria County residents, meaning Woodford County for a second consecutive day has reported no new cases.
Hospitalizations dropped from 42 to 33. Seven of those 33 hospitalized patients as of Thursday afternoon were in intensive care.
Rolling seven-day positivity rate for the greater Region Two of Illinois dropped to 1.8%, while ICU bed availability rose to 24%, and overall hospitalizations were down to 100.
The state is scheduled June 11 to reopen fully.
