SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — As the state marches towards this Friday’s full reopening, COVID-19 numbers continue to decrease in proper ways.
Illinois Department of Public Health said 244 people between Sunday and Monday tested positive. 14 died.
788 people as of Sunday night were in Illinois hospitals because of the virus. 217 of those patients were in intensive care, while 116 were using ventilators.
A total of 33,407 vaccines during the reporting period were administered.
Labs during that collected 27,348 specimens to be tested.
