PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria and Woodford Counties between Tuesday and Wednesday lost two residents, apiece, to COVID-19 complications.
In Peoria, a woman in her 60s and a man in his 80s died. Both Woodford deaths were of men: one in his 40s and one in his 90s.
Adding in Tazewell County, the tri-county combined for just nine new COVID cases. Peoria and Tazewell each had four cases, while Woodford added one.
Hospitalizations increased from 28 to 31, but intensive care beds in use remained at seven.
Greater Region Two’s rolling seven-day positivity and ICU bed availability remained at Tuesday’s numbers, while overall COVID hospitalizations were down to 68.
