MAPLETON, Ill. — An employee of the Evonik chemical company survived a Tuesday morning scare.
Peoria County Sheriff’s Deputies got a call around 10:00 about the electrocution of a 52-year-old man.
He was reportedly checking the temperature of some exterior pipes when he got the shock.
The man was conscious and alert, and was taken to OSF HealthCare with minor injuries. PCSO ended up being deferred.
