BARTONVILLE, Ill. – The Peoria Motorcycle Club celebrated two comebacks Saturday.
The first was for the club itself, which hosted the Law Tigers Peoria TT races presented by Country Saloon. The event was canceled last year because of the pandemic.
Henry Wiles enjoyed his own personal comeback on his return to the Peoria track, winning his first Singles championship.
Wiles had won 14 straight Super Twins races at the Peoria track before missing the 2019 races because of a broken leg.
“It’s interesting that this show has always been a constant for me as my life has evolved,” Wiles told news partner 25 News.
The Journal Star reports Wiles, who hails from Winn, Mich., also officially joined the Peoria Motorcycle Club after his race.
