DUNLAP, Ill. – There’s a new exhibit coming to Dunlap’s “Wheels o Time” Museum that is all locally built from Legos.
The museum gave a sneak preview of the exhibit Saturday. It’s called “Bricks in Motion” and features trains and railroads, along with rollercoasters and other buildings — all built by Grant Wetherill’s father Richard.
“Our father would be really honored and happy to see this happening. He was very passionate about this and many other things too. We’re very grateful that this is happening here and going to be shared with so many others,” said Grant Wetherill.
Wetherill talked with our news partner 25 News, and says his father built the entire structure in his basement.
“Bricks in Motion” will open to the public next May.
