Peoria, Ill — A victim is being treated for a bullet wound to the leg after a shooting reported last night in Peoria.
It’s the latest word from Police as the investigation continues.
PPD says a male victim showed up at the hospital last (Thursday) night around 9:45 p.m. His wounds were considered non-life-threatening.
Officers say they got a ShotSpotter alert in an area of 1700 West Smith Street just off of West MLK Drive, but right now, they cannot confirm the location of the shooting.
There is no suspect information released as of now.

PEORIA, Ill. — A person shot in the leg was taken to a hospital late Thursday night, according to Peoria Police.
PPD told news partner 25 News that the call came in around 9:45 p.m. Thursday for someone taken to the hospital. Their injuries were considered non-life threatening.
Police have no suspects at this time.
Officers were not able to confirm the address where the incident happened or any additional information about the victim, including their gender.
