UPDATE
PEORIA, Ill. – Autopsy results have been released after a jogger was struck and killed in Chillicothe Friday.
The Peoria County coroner says Jonah Koponen, 23, of Phoenix, Arizona suffered severe and multiple blunt force trauma injuries after being struck from behind by a truck. He died instantly. Toxicology results are pending.
Illinois State Police tell us Koponen was jogging along Route 29 near Hardscrabble Road about 8:15 a.m. Friday when he was hit by a northbound Chevy Silverado.
No charges have been filed, but State Police say the investigation continues.

Investigators say a Chevy Silverado heading northbound on Route 29 hit and killed a jogger near Hardscrabble Road about 8:15 a.m.
The deceased is identified as 23-year-old Jonah Koponen, of Phoenix, Arizona.
No charges are filed at the moment, but the crash investigation is ongoing.
