BARTONVILLE, Ill. — A juvenile was taken to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center on Tuesday after Bartonville Police were dispatched to the grade school on reports of a student threatening to shoot three other students.
Police said in a Facebook post that they believe this is an isolated incident.
No other information will be released due to the suspect’s age.
The case has been forwarded to the Peoria County State’s Attorney for review of charges.
This incident follows several threats at Limestone Community High School, the arrest of one of its students last week, and the school being closed on Tuesday.
Limestone students were back in the classroom on Wednesday.
