CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicago Bears didn’t take long to find their next head coach.
Indianapolis Colts Defensive Coordinator Matt Eberflus is getting the job, replacing Matt Nagy. The Bears made the hire official Thursday evening, hours after a number of media outlets had already reported the move.
Eberflus is being credited with turning around the defense of the Indianapolis Colts in the last several years. He spent time in Cleveland, Dallas, and the college ranks before that.
The hire comes just two days after hiring Kansas City Chiefs executive director of player personnel Ryan Poles to be the team’s next General Manager.
