BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – A Peoria teenager is in trouble with the law in the Twin Cities after he allegedly had a gun there over the weekend.
Bloomington Police say they arrested Isaiah Jackson, 18, on charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
Officers pulled a vehicle over near Market and Howard Streets in Bloomington early Sunday morning, and searched the car after they are believed to have smelled cannabis.
A search of the vehicle allegedly turned up a loaded gun.
Jackson is in the McLean County Jail on $25,000 bond.
