WASHINGTON, D.C. (FOX NEWS) — There seems to be no relief in sight from prices at the pump.
AAA said Tuesday gasoline prices rose four more cents, pushing the national average price for regular unleaded gasoline above $4.56 a gallon.
Another first for drivers at the pump, drivers in all 50 states are now paying at least $4.00 a gallon.
The final three states to reach an average of at least $4.00 a gallon were Georgia, Kansas and Oklahoma. They crossed the threshold on Tuesday.
In Illinois, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $4.91. In the Peoria-Pekin Metro area, the average is $4.81.
