PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County grand jury did not file all the charges a Peoria teen was arrested on in connection with an allegedly stolen vehicle earlier this month.
The grand jury this week indicted Sentaries Farmer, 18, on two counts of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
Farmer was originally arrested October ninth on several additional charges.
He and four juveniles were allegedly in a stolen vehicle near McClure and Sheridan late on the night of October ninth that fled from officers at a high rate of speed.
Farmer — who allegedly had a concealed handgun on him — along with four juvenile eventually were arrested after getting out of the car and running on foot.
The juveniles face charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, while Farmer will be arraigned November 10th, and remains jailed.
