PEORIA, Ill. — Police are confirming certain details related to a video taped fight between Peoria middle school girls outside a recent basketball game.
It happened late Wednesday — PPD says just before 6 p.m., officers received a call.
According to 25 News, video recordings released from one subject in the scuffle show girls fighting outside and after the final buzzer of a just finished girls basketball game at Lincoln Middle School.
Peoria Police are confirming one person involved in the fight suffered a concussion.
Two juveniles walked away under arrest by PPD officers, but then were later released back into the custody of their parents.
Police confirm one adult woman was arrested and charged, though they do not confirm what those charges may include.
WEEK-TV had reported early Saturday morning about a woman named Angela Warfield, who seemed to identify herself and two of her daughters as being those who were taken into police custody that day.
A release issued by PPD early Saturday said police are continuing their follow up investigation and “more arrests are pending.”
