PEORIA, Ill. – Two juveniles are in custody after both were believed to be in possession of guns.
Peoria Police say they were investigating a juvenile illegally possessing a gun around 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, following the male to a location on East Corrington from one on Bigelow.
The juvenile and another male allegedly fled from officers when approached, forcing their way into a home.
When they were arrested, police say each of the juveniles had a loaded gun, and third gun was found in the home.
The juveniles now both face charges of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Handgun Under 21, Having No FOID Cards, Resisting Arrest, and Home Invasion, and they remain in custody.
