The Peoria Public Library now says the main library branch downtown will remain closed all day Monday, due to the water main break. All other branches are open regular hours.

PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria County Courthouse will be closed Monday as repairs continue on a broken water main in downtown Peoria.
According to a release, all court hearings scheduled for Monday will be rescheduled.
The Peoria County Circuit Clerk’s Office will send affected parties a notice of the rescheduled court hearing by mail and email. As of now, the courthouse is set to reopen on Tuesday.
The closure comes as Illinois American Water continues to repair a water main at N.E. Jefferson Street and Hamilton Boulevard.
Crews have have been working since Saturday night to repair the water main.
The cause of the break is unknown, with analysis planned after the repair is finished.
Illinois American Water is asking drivers to avoid the area until the repairs are completed and normal traffic resumes.
Peoria Public Library’s downtown branch is also closed until at least noon Monday due to the water main break.
