PEORIA, Ill. – Three juveniles and one adult are arrested after what was as a car accident became the discovery of guns.
It started around 11:30 Tuesday night, when Peoria Police say they saw an SUV hit a parked car on West Hanssler but continue driving.
The vehicle was later stopped at North and Corrington, and police say they discovered a so-called “ghost gun” with an extended magazine in the vehicle, and a pistol with two magazines on a 15-year-old male.
Two 15-year-old males and a 14-year-old male all were arrested on various weapons possession and FOID card-related counts.
The driver of the SUV — Lerone Allen, 19 — faces charges of Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Not Wearing a Seatbelt, and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.
