CANTON, Ill. – Police in Canton say they have a man in custody who was allegedly threatening people at a local bar, and was allegedly in a car stolen from Peoria.
Police say they responded to a bar on Elm Street in Canton around 10:30 Saturday night.
A male allegedly went there stating he had a gun while threatening to enter.
Police say that man was identified as Jeremy Waddell of Canton.
He alelgedly was intoxicated standing alongside the car when he was arrested.
Waddell is facing charges of Possession fo a Stolen Vehicle, Aggravated Driving Under the Inflience, Driving on a Revoked License, Resisting a Peace Officer, Disorderly Conduct, and other traffic citations.
He’s being held in the Fulton County Jail pending a bond hearing.
It’s not clear where in Peoria the car may have been stolen from.
