LINCOLN, Ill. – At least from a snow perspective, the winter storm that spent time in our area between Thursday and Friday wasn’t that big of a deal.
According to the National Weather Service, snow totals ranged from one inch in Knox County, to 2.2 inches at the Peoria Airport.
An area in rural Woodford County reported 2.1 inches of snow.
Parts of Fulton County got slightly more snow.
Meanwhile, wind gusts reports ranged from 34 miles per hour south of Pekin at one point Thursday night, to 41 miles per hour at the Peoria International Airport, also Thursday night.
No wind gusts in the local Weather Service region were recorded higher than that, until you get into Coles County, where gusts did top 50 miles per hour early Friday morning.
