PEORIA, Ill. – A winter storm has brought snow, but you may not really see much of it here in the Peoria area.
The National Weather Service is calling for another inch of snow in the Peoria area through Wednesday evening, while a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect.
25 News First Alert Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins is still forecasting up to four inches.
Either way, the worst of the snow will be in southeastern Illinois, where Winter Storm Warnings are in effect.
City of Peoria crews are out on the roads, and East Peoria and Mackinaw are among those communities that have, so far, put parking bans into effect.
As of 6:15 am Wednesday, Peoria County is under a Traffic Collision Alert.
