PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County grand jury met this week, and filed charges in a number of cases.
Among them, Aaron Cornwell (pictured above), 30, was charged with a Class-4 Felony count of Grooming. The indictment accuses Cornwell — who was originally arrested December 14th — of trying to start a sexual relationship with someone believed to be a child named “Emma” last November 28th. Cornwell was trying to do that via an internet profile.
He was originally released with a notice to appear in court, and is now scheduled for arraignment February 16th.
Also, Rachel Sansale, 32, was charged with four Class-3 Felony counts of Burglary.
The charges allege Sansale broke into a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Washington Street in Bartonville four times — October 10th, 11th, 12th, and 14th with the intent to steal from it.
Sansale was released from jail November 19th with notices to appear in court.
She is scheduled to be arraigned February 16th, and was convicted last year of a misdemeanor theft charge allegedly involving the same restaurant, to which she was sentenced to conditional discharge and community service.
