PEORIA, Ill. – Two more Peoria juveniles are in trouble with the law for allegedly stealing a car.
Police say it happened Saturday evening, but details are just coming out now.
Officers spotted the vehicle near Union and Moss and tried to stop it near Romeo B. Garrett Avenue and Richard Allen Drive, but it sped off.
The car was found as juveniles tried to flee from it on West Hurlburt, but the teens were caught.
A 15-year-old female was arrested for Resisting Police and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, while a 14-year-old male faces charges of Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle and Resisting Police.
The male was released to his family, while the female is in juvenile custody.
