PEORIA, Ill. — The City of Peoria is looking at a plan to help redevelop a key section of the downtown area that now sits vacant.
The former Sully’s Bar location is the proposed site for a $57 million dollar hotel and residential building on SW Adams Street.
Fulton Hotel Development, based in Florida, is asking the City of Peoria for tax financing benefits to put 140 hotel rooms and 50 residential units in a new building with a pool and fitness center.
Peoria City Council will consider the proposal next week that would have plans done by April 1, 2024 and construction completed by August 2027.
