PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man was arrested after a gun was allegedly fired inside a home early Monday morning.
Peoria Police were called to the area of N. Gale and W. Richwoods just before 4:30 A.M., finding several people standing near a vehicle parked outside a residence.
Inside the vehicle, officers found two people and a handgun, which prompted an investigation.
Then, officers heard a gunshot from inside the home, and ordered everyone inside to get out. There were no injuries.
One of the people who’d been inside the home was identified as Dominick Clark. Further investigation found Clark discharged the firearm found inside the home.
Also inside the home, police found illegal drugs.
Clark was arrested on charges of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, No FOID, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
