PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say they are looking for suspects in two shootings reported Sunday evening within minutes of each other.
One was reported around 9:10 p.m. near Indiana Avenue and Seneca Place, with a ShotSpotter alert detecting four rounds fired.
They later learned a house was shot at on Seneca, with no one hurt. A vehicle near the scene led police on a chase before getting away, later found wrecked on Corrington and Linn.
About five minutes earlier, a shooting occurred on Sterling inbetween Forest Hill and Gilbert Avenues.
One man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound, after a report of two males fighting, one shooting the other, and two cars fleeing the scene before officers arrived.
