SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (FOX News) — As the 2024 presidential race heats up, so does speculation surrounding who may be considering a potential White House bid.
Illinois Democratic Gov. J-B Pritzker responds when asked on CBS’ “Face The Nation” about whether he’s considering keeping his options open — explaining that he’s planning to throw his support behind President Joe Biden.
“No, I’m supporting Joe Biden, he’s running for re-election, and he’s gonna to get re-elected. I’m just happy that people think of me in that way, that’s certainly very flattering…but, I intend on serving out my term of governor of Illinois,” Pritzker says.
President Biden has not yet officially announced his re-election campaign.
