PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say three teenagers and a youth younger than teenage are arrested after another reported carjacking in an area bordered by the West Bluff and Central Peoria.
A man told police around 8pm Tuesday night, two males, one of whom had a gun, fled southbound starting near Ellis and Armstrong after forcing the man out of his car.
Police caught up with the car on North Great Oak Road, fleeing again at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle later crashed into another vehicle near University and Main, leading to Peoria and Bradley University Police making the arrests.
18-year-old Sentaries Farmer, who was indicted by a grand jury in a burglary case this week, faces Aggravated Assault, Resisting Police, and Vehicular Hijacking charges, and is in jail.
A 12-year-old was released to his mother on a Criminal Trespass Charge, and two 13-year-olds are in juvenile custody on several charges.

PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police say they have four people in custody following an armed carjacking that led to a crash near Bradley University Wednesday night.
Police were called about 8 p.m. to N. Ellis Street, near West Armstrong Avenue and Peoria High School, where someone armed with a gun stole a car.
No one was injured in the carjacking incident, but PPD said they saw the stolen vehicle on Nebraska and University before it crashed into another vehicle a few blocks away at University and Main.
Two people in the vehicle that was hit suffered injuries that were not considered serious, according to Peoria Police Spokesperson Semone Roth.
No information has been released about the four suspects.
