PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria crews responded to a two-vehicle accident with entrapment just after 6 p.m. Sunday in the area of N. Orange Prairie Road and W. Flagstone Drive.
Crews used hydraulic cutters and the “jaws of life” to remove a door from one of the vehicles to free a passenger.
Peoria Fire Battalion Chief Tom Sander says one of two people inside the car had serious injuries.
Two people were in the second vehicle involved in the crash, one with possible serious injuries.
All four people were taken to a local hospital by ambulance.
Their conditions were not released.
