PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County grand jury has indicted a woman for the suspected stabbing death of her boyfriend.
The grand jury Tuesday formally charged Heaven Kruzan, 22, with First-Degree Murder.
Kruzan allegedly stabbed 34-year-old Lamario Billups during an argument March 8 at a home near Stanley and Krause in South Peoria. Billups died not long after at a local hospital.
Kruzan is still scheduled to be arraigned April 6th and is jailed on a $500,000 bond.
