PEORIA, Ill. – The death of a Peoria woman found on the bank of the Illinois River last week is now being investigated as a homicide.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says after further investigation, 58-year-old Tamara Schaidle “received injuries consistent with significant blunt force trauma and drowning by another.”
Schaidle was found by a walker on a trail just north of the Peoria Riverplex on the morning of March 21st.
